You can, but you will end up with a customized template, and miss any update provided by 3CX. So I would not go that way. You can just make that field visible in Zoho by following this guide:

that Kind of worked.
Now I get a different error.

Can you copy the URL that is being invoked before you get that error? That will give us more context. You will need to enable verbose logs to see that (from the 3CX Console > Dashboard > Activity Log > Settings).
