Zoom 5801 ATA with 1 FXO and 1 FXS port.

Wondering if anyone ever tried to configure the Zoom 5801 ATA to work with 3CX. I just got mine brand new and it only cost $50 off ebay. Not sure where to go from here. I can access the Web Management GUI on the unit and it looks like it should work with 3CX, but I'm not sure.

Any help greatly appreciated. Basically, what I would like to do is have anyone from my internal lab network be able to make a call out using my standard Telco line.

FXO adapter

The best way to go about this is to read the chapter on configuring an FXO gateway with 3CX. The gateway interface would be different, but you would look for similar entries. There are many gateways but most of the times the configuration is quite similar.

ZOOM 5801 ATA

I use it with 3cx as a pstn gateway and it works great. The ony feature that will be a problem is caller id it wont pass it over to voip when You use it as a pstn gateway because it was not designed to be a pstn gateway but rather an ATA.
