Hello,

I would like to give an option to ppl, to reach me during my "Away" times in case of an emergency.

There should be a message like "....In case of an emergency please press 1" - since I didnt find any DND override features for the 3CX App - I figured, I could just forward this call then to my mobile number, with an altered unused internal extension and set this number in my phone as a priority contact which will always ring.

So far I was not successful setting this up. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi,

Did you send it via an IVR to give the press 1 option? Which part did not work?

The IVR has no option to forward to an external number, and even if it had, it would probably display the caller number.
I tried to forward to a dummy extension first and set there a custom outgoing number, that didnt work either.

Let incomming call go to a queue with opening hours (or just log out of the queue when you are not available).
Outside openings hours (or if no one available) go to IVR with option for emergency.
In case of emergency go to a ringgroup (when you log out of queue in the mobile app you still are in the ringgroup). Make yourself member of the ringgroup.

In this way call stays in 3CX and you see the ringgroup name so you know it is an emergency

You've not mentioned your call flow but you will need to use an IVR to use a switchboard and set your destination to your mobile number.

there's a few ways to achieve what you want.

What about ...IVR routed to an extension that is set to "ring my mobile" (yours)
