I am able to receive inbound calls fine but outbound calls do not work
When i test it comes up as forbidden

Do you see any entries in the event log that could provide additional information?

Since packet captures aren’t available on an SMB system, please navigate to the trunk and select Check SIP Trunk. Then, choose Outbound Call Test and run a test using your usual dialing format. Please share the results, making sure to redact any sensitive information.

I ran the outbound call test and got SIP response code 403, reason: forbidden. The trunk shows as successfully registered and inbound calls work fine its just outbound calls i have an issue with

Once the Outbound Call Test is completed, the call log should be displayed. Please review it and verify the number that 3CX is presenting to the provider.

Many carriers will successfully register a trunk but return a 403 Forbidden response if the outbound INVITE contains a caller ID (CLI) that is not authorized on the account.

Also, please assign an Outbound Caller ID associated with one of the SIP trunk’s DIDs to either the outbound rule or the test user.
If you share the call log (making sure to redact any sensitive information) I will likely be able to assist you more effectively.

I have now ran the test again this time got a different result: SIP Response Code 407, reason: proxy authentication required. The outbounded rule applied correctly but the call still fails with this error.
