We've just started using transcriptions (via Whisper / OpenAI).

Not sure if I'm missing something, but is there any ability to improve the formatting for the single chunk of text that results?

Something that attempts to ID the callers by name would be great (given that info is available) but even just line breaks between speakers would be an improvement.

I know Whisper AI can do this, so can Google Transcription.

Is it something that would be enabled at the transcription engine side? I can't see anything in 3CX to help with this.

You could try editing the parameter OPENAI_SUMMARY and put in there to format it

Thanks, that actually works perfectly. I updated the prompt to include both the summary and the re-formatted conversation.

Not sure if there is a length limit on the response?

e.g.

Summary:
In this brief exchange, one participant is attempting to establish clear audio communication, expressing frustration due to an inability to hear the other participant.

Formatted Conversation:
Speaker 1: Can you hear me?
Speaker 2: No, I can't hear you.
Speaker 1: What the hell is going on?

Could you provide an example of your prompt? Mine keeps breaking transcription.

Thanks

If so, you may want to consider our 3CX Recording Manager tool. We do a lot more than than simple transcriptions. We also do agent scoring, coaching, and much more.
