Problem:
When "record all calls" is enforced and agents cannot start or stop recording, the Web Client and apps still display a recording indicator to the agent for the entire call, and there is no setting to turn it off. In deployments that record 100% of calls for compliance, with the external party informed in the welcome greeting, the internal agent does not need a permanent on-air indicator, and there is no way to remove it.
Request:
Add an Admin-controlled setting, applied per user or per role, that hides the in-call recording indicator in the clients while server-side recording keeps running exactly as configured. It should sit next to the existing "cannot start/stop recording" and "cannot access recordings" permissions. Desk phones already show no indicator for server-side recording, so this simply brings the clients in line.
Real use case:
A multi-branch retail business records every call for quality and compliance (callers are notified up front). Front-desk staff do not need, and should not be distracted by, a persistent recording indicator; the business only needs the recording to happen reliably in the background.
For clarity, this is different from the existing "User-level recording opt out" idea (which lets the external caller opt out via DTMF): this request is about the visibility of the indicator to the internal agent, with recording always on.

Could a moderator please move it there and, if possible, correct my account permissions (ID) so I can post ideas directly in the future? Thank you.
