Standard voicemail Greetings cannot be changed

1. Click Manage Prompt Sets
2. Press "Copy" give new name and press OK
3. Select custom prompt set, then you can upload files to it per message.
4. Restart system

does not work.

still the same voicemail greeting (with the useless "asterisk" in it, which confuses all callers)..

For the Vmails you may also upload custom prompts per user if you want.
Did you change the Language on the top to the new ones you have replaced ?

Also as a note, if call between extensions and on your extension you have English and on the
destination you have Spanish lets say, then you will hear the English Prompts on your side.
If the other extension that has Spanish, calls you it will hear the Spanish Vmail prompt.

the problem is, that a lot of users, and also myself are too lazy to have their own. With many people as users I just wanted to change the default, so the prompt with the asterisk does not confuse caller anymore. they press the asterisk, often only because its the last thing the prompt is suggesting. and then routing goes to the systems default number. and thats not helpful, for no one. not for the company, nor the user, which was the intented person to reach, nor the caller.
So I just wanted to change the prompt for all without customized with a prompt with no asterisk suggest.

How can I configure for the new "language" (the copy) with one click for all, which do not use a custom prompt ?

You can turn off transfer from voicemail.

When you turn it off, it will change the voicemail prompt to remove the "or press X for the operator"

System > Voicemail

@AndreIso you may select the users you want and do not need custom prompts,
Edit them and select the language you need ( in this case the custom one ).
Also you may do what Alphabetic metioned above, disable the option to transfer calls to the operator.
