v20 migration between two VMs: public IP question

Hello, I suspect I'm asking this for the hundredth (or maybe thousandth) time. It's simple: there's a VM running a working v20 instance, and for various reasons, I need to move this PBX to another virtual machine, which will inevitably result in a change of public IP. The question is, what's...

  3. Sophos Firewall, AT&T On-prem SIP, and 3CX VM

Good afternoon everyone! Does anyone have any good tips or pointers using a Sophos firewall and setting up 3CX as a VM? We have AT&T on-prem SIP for voice services. The thought is to set a port on the firewall to the AT&T SIP static and then set up a DNAT to point that traffic to the 3CX VM host...
  4. Migrate 3CX from AWS to VMware in a Colo

A partner of ours with multiple 3CX customers hosted in AWS would like to move those VMs out of AWS. Has anyone done a migration like this before? Is it possible? If it is, I'm assuming each VM will be backed up into an ISO file or something like that so that it can be imported on the new...

Hello! We can't log in as root to 3CX. This is a Debian deployment installed on a virtual machine managed by the client. When we try to log in, we get prompted to type our user (root) and then we can type our password. Immediately after, the CLI shows us a log in screen for a fraction of a...
  6. Solved Google Cloud Issues with Port 443

Hello. MY Google Cloud VM was shut down because the billing expired. When I restarted it, I could no longer reach my 3CX Management Console. 3CX customer support is telling me that my Port 443 is closed. Does anyone know what I should do to resolve this? I cannot figure it out. Thank you.

You can run a hypervisor inside the Diskstation - using debian CPU: Intel Atom C3538, Ram 32GB max. This should probably work. Does anyone know who tried himself this will not work? Thank you.
