Hi,

When using the 3CX desktop app to make a call, with “Call using” set to the Yealink handset;

  • If the phone has firmware 96.86.0.72 the phone immediately dials the number entered, the caller hears the dialling tones, the number is displayed on the handset.
  • If the phone has the latest firmware 96.86.100.5, 3CX calls the handset, “Make Call” is displayed as the CID. When answered, the caller hears hold music until the callee answers.

Is this expected? Is there a way to revert it back?

Thanks

3CX Version Number 18.0 (Build 415)

Yealink T54W

Old firmware: 96.86.0.72

Latest firmware: 96.86.100.5

The phone and PBX are local.

Please open a support ticket from your portal, and we can assist you with this from there.
It would appear that the server has auto removed the firmware it pushed to it (the .100.5) I can see now ever T54W on our server running that firmware is flagged as not supported. I'll push a downgrade after hours to avoid causing service issues for my coworkers.

As long as the SBC function works that's all I care about. Myself and a few coworkers use the same T54W from home and it's setup as a router phone.

Please open a ticket so that we can remove the incorrect firmware which will allow you then download the correct firmware and stop the .100 firmware from being pushed again.
