Hi,

I have a system set with 4 extensions and 1 VoIP line from broadvoice.
Today i noticed that with this line, while i was making an external call, somebody called us and was transfered to another extension (by the Digital Receptionist).

Is that normal? One line, one number and more than one simultaneous call? Broadvoice won't charge me more for that?

I appreciate any comments.

Thanks;

It depends on your plan from your ITSP. I was under the impression that Broadvoice only allowed one call per line at a time. There are other providers who charge by the minute instead of by the month who do allow multiple simultaneous calls.

One of them is nexVortex.

Is there a way to blok it (simultaneous calls on the same line) on the 3CX software?

In the line setup page under other options- there is a setting for maximum simultaneous calls.

Great, thanks a lot!

Are you getting multiple lines working with 1 plan? I thought I called them and they didn't offer that. Which plan do you have?

Thanks,

Hi Rob,

I think that's the Call Waiting feature from Broadvoice. It lets you accept incoming call even when you're on the phone.
