How can this be repaired / is this a known problem?

clear cache browser

oh Thanks!
(it was not that easy but still easy, I had to install a new version of chromium) Clear cache alone or removing any website data did not help)

strange , normally clearing browser cache is enough to do.

Same problem here... Safari 13.1.2 Mac Os Catalina. I have clear the browser cache with any possible way but no phone list since 16.0.641 version upgrade.

Your problem is Safari nothing else, try a supported browser

Safari was working just fine before upgrade for years. I am seeing this issue to chrome as well. The only way to fix this in chrome is to uninstall chrome and install it again

I had to use Firefox to see the phones. This is a bug in my opinion - I've emptied all caches in Safari etc... and it's still not working!

You're free to think like you want, anyway to fix this problem this is the only thing to do to retrieve phones display

well , sorry if my answer is not the one you wanted to have, but supported browsers are almost under everyone's noze each time loggin to PBX

Are we really complaining about this? While I agree that it would be nice if there was a warning (and IIRC if you use a truly unsupported browser like IE it does present a warning) it's really shouldn't be news to anyone that sometimes you need to use a different browser. Ultimately a browser can lie and say it's another browser via the User-Agent and 3CX can't do anything about it. I'm also fairly certain that Google doesn't ask for 3CX's permission before they update their browser, and the same goes for the other players. I have multiple browsers as well as versions so when things don't work I can try others. But the defacto standard is always use the latest version of the supported browsers. It's mentioned in a couple places from what I remember but a quick search turned it up here:

https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/phone-system-installation-windows/

I use Firefox extensively and noticed this problem so I checked the versions to see which ones do work and which ones dont.

Works => 80.0.1
Works => 78.2.0esr

Fails => 68.12.0esr

NB: These are all the current versions from Mozilla (They haven't pushed people to upgrade from 68.12.0esr to 78.2.0esr yet).

A warning from 3CX about required minimum versions of the browser would be appreciated, especially since Mozilla/Firefox are still supporting their previous ESR version.

Browsers Supported = Chrome, Firefox and Edge (chromium based, not the old Edge)

- Web standards and security standards change fast, make sure you update your browser manually.

- Don't rely on the browser auto-updating, that can fail on you

- Other browsers that did work, could stop working at any moment, or could be showing the wrong/missing information - but then again they were never supported in the first place so you should not rely on them

- Using a supported browser means that you are using one that we have tested to work with 3CX, so if we detect any issues with it before each 3CX release, we will make sure to fix them. This is not the case for unsupported browsers, so you're on your own when using those.

- Case in point, Chrome and Firefox recently upgraded their security requirements, and the .622 hotfix was quickly released to address the compatibility issue. You will not get such fixes for unsupported browsers.
