16.4 oddity

I did not notice if this was present in v16.3 or not.
In an extension - I have Disallow use of extension outside the LAN. It show the little message shown below.


However, this extension, 111, has only 1 phone - and it is internal. It's in the break room.


Shouldn't that tick box only affect the extension being viewed. And if so, why is that message coming up - if extension 111 has no external devices?

Dunno if you can edit the title to say 16.4 but that looks to be a browser cache issue perhaps? Doesn't happen on one 16.0.4 instance I checked.

You are right - not happening in Safari. Only Chrome.
I'll flush my cache and such.

in chrome or any browser when such issues occur, there is a magic fix that usually works.
CTRL+F5 - forces a full page reload without using cached resources.

If that doesnt work it can also be a corrupted session, which you can test by trying the same task inside incognito mode, incognito uses its own session cache seperated from regular chrome, and that session cache is purged when you close all incognito windows.

Interesting, perhaps poor darwin cannot chrome properly then, hehe, darwin(MacOS) comes from good roots, apple stole much code from BSD and Unix when they reinvented themselves, but from there it was all downhill. I still remember their original dead end platform, which only ran on Motorola processors in their original Mac PCs. The one good component they used to make them seem fast was 10k SCSI drives, i used to buy those macs from the thrift store cheap just to gutt them for their SCSI drives since i had an Adaptec SCSI RAID array at home growing up.
