Hi,

Is it possible to have 2 3CX instances with the same licence key but the services stopped, similar to what you would have in a failover scenario.

We are migrating a customer from onsite to hosted, we have set the new server up with a new FQDN using a free licence with a 40 day pro trial with a view to move the current perpetual licence over to the new server. They would like to keep access to the orginal PBX as we will not be migrating there 3TB of recordings.

You need Enterprise or Pro license for failover. You can't use the same license on two systems with Standard.

The customers actual licence is a pro licence, I got myself a bit confused and had it my mind that they would fight over activation like it does if you use the same FQDN.
