Hello,

I have a SIP trunk running perfectly on Debian and need to add a second SIP Trunk through a new router that's been installed.
Whenever I connect the second router on the new network card second NIC card doesn't get an IP.

How do I configure this?

You will need to manually create the interface on the second NIC and set the static route (not gateway.)

It's a bit easier to do on Windows but on Debian, you need to edit network interfaces files.

Hi @MELISSAS

As @ConceptsWeb mentioned you will need to configure your second NIC manually with the information your provider gave to you. If they did not they should since this their router.
You will then need to configure static routes on the OS level to route the traffic correctly to the correct IP. Here is an example of such a configuration.

Nice example for static routes! This should be a KB!
