3 Way calls no longer possible without conference bridge unless callers are saved as contacts

Hi I'm posting on behalf of a customer of mine who frequently used the 3CX Android app. We noticed that after the latest 20.1.0 Update to the Android app we're no longer able to make 3 way conference calls without using the conference bridge and creating and ID and PIN. Typically we used to create a 3 way call by starting a 3rd call and merging the two. This doesn't seem to be possible by dialing out to the 3rd persons phone number unless they're number is saved under a contact. Is there any work around for this issue or is this a bug?

Can you give us a rundown step by step how the above works for you? So we can replicate the issue from our end?

Hi I guess some of the interface has changed on the android app and this might just be a slightly different process my customer wasn't used to. I tested with them and it all seems good now. How this was replicated was by pressing the conference button while already on a call with one recipient, then entering the phone number of the next person to add, she was not pressing the blue add button under the search field to Add the recipient
