3CX 12.5 For Windows XP

Is 3CX 12.5 compatible on Windows XP? I have installed the software on a Windows XP machine but it fails to start up. I get an error message saying that 3CX has encountered a problem but doesn't give the problem that it has encountered. Any help would be appreciated.
