3CX API (TCX.Configuration.PhoneSystem) on different Pc?

I know there's no official support for the API (god knows why - an API is crucial for custom CRM applications).

Can I run the API on another Pc og must it be on same Pc as the 3cx server?

It doesn't seam to work when not using 127.0.0.1 ... eg. PhoneSystem.CfgServerHost = "10.0.10.20".

The CallControl API only works on localhost so yes it has to be running on the same machine.

That's why a true REST API is upcoming, at some point.
