3cx App < - > Popup RDP session

Hello ,

still struggle with the 3cx App.

In our environment we work with RDP sessions , so i installed the 3cx App local.
when we receive a call the client wont popup before the RDP window.

Do someone have a idea how to achieve ? Within two weeks we go live . . .

Alright , i understand :-(
So i think i'll must install the app on the terminal servers ?
Can someone confirm this is working ? with mapped headset ?

What you could do is install the PWA client: https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/web-client-pwa/

Then make sure the notification permissions are allowed:

Now when your RDP session is fullscreen, it should popup a notification.

This is also a dirty workaround . . .
if we look at the Teams client , when there is a call there is a focus window in the front of the RDS session window , so it is possible . . .

Today , i test it . and now 3cx take the focus . . . But when i open 1 time the "dashboard" then it lost .
So i'm pretty sure there is a solution because bassicly it works.

if you guys can take the time i can make a little screen record to show and explain.

How i solve this for the moment

in the RDP file put this rules

desktopwidth:i:1920
desktopheight:i:1079
smart sizing:i:1

desktopheight = resolution minus 1 pixel
So we have " full screen " , now the dialer pop ups

Other solution

When person open RDP full screen , ask to resize one's , then back fullscreen.
Now the dialer also pop up . . .

@VasilisV_3CX just check the App "DeskPins" from this link: https://efotinis.neocities.org/deskpins/

With this app you can stick the App to top and if you dont minimize it, it will pin above the rdp session also (and comes to front while recieving calls) @Helmut W.

So if its possible just take a look at this software to find out what to do to include such function to the 3cx app.
