3cx app won't connect using data

Hi I just got my 3cx system running but the app on my phone only won't connect if using data. When I change it to wifi it connects wright away, I turn off the wifi and it goes from green the grey and says connecting but does nothing. I'm very new to this and not much of a tech guy so if you can keep it at a 3rd grade level that would be great lol. Thanks
