I have a 3cx app showing up in the phone tab showing the firewall IP how is this possible?

The firewall has a LAN and a WAN IP.

Which one do you see in the Phones tab?

I think we figured it out a user switch their machine to external DNS but let me check

This can happen when your firewall rewrites the source address instead of passing on the true source address.

You would have to look it up for your specific firewall, and perhaps adjust some of its settings/policies.

Ideas: double NAT, certain types of inspection, certain security features, HTTP/S proxying
