3CX audio Quality

i read that voice packet take no more than 80 kb so why when i use 3CX on android over fast wifi there is some times bad Quality in comparison with IP Phones that connected directly with utp cables ... and even with ip phones some times there is bad connection while Stun or SBC on remote sites used... could any one explain why and what solution for that

Hi Khaled,
it´s not all about bandwith. it´s also important that the connection has a short latency and isn´t producing data losses.
We recognized that wifi isn´t the best way to use 3cx Smartphone Client because wifi normally isn´t optimized to work with voice.
better try to use 4G or 3G as mobile data connection.

To put it another way, voice is way more sensitive to network quality issues than other applications. WiFi is particularly bad because you can't control the medium. Things other applications can do (buffering, re-sending packets, etc) can't be done with voice so even minor network/internet quality issues are magnified with voice.
