3CX Backup, missing operator email

Hi,
I have a major problem where I need to restore from backup but I'm getting the error below regarding the operator email not been present in the backup zip file.
Is there any way I can amend the backup file to add the operator email.

I cant log back into the old PBX as its dead, hence the requirement for the restore.


No Operator email in backup file. Login to your PBX, go to the General tab of the Extension, that is defined as Operator, and configure a valid email address

thanks for that, I found where the missing email address goes in the .xml file. I unzipped the backup, amended the .xml, saved the .xml file and then rezipped the folder, once I did this the backup shows as invalid on the restore screen.
I tested the unzip and rezip by unzipping the backup, not amending anything and then rezipping, the backup shows as invalid.

Do you know if 3cx protect the backup zip file in some way to prevent amendments been made?

Are you able to edit without extracting?

you're a life saver, open the Zip file with winrar, pull out the .xml, edit it and save, drop it back into winrar over writing the existing.
