When you are forwarding calls, either on inbound rules, or on extension , it passes the original caller-ID as sender-id. This make ISP's rejecting calls. Error message you see int the 3CX log normally is "Incomplete data" or something like that.

What you need to do is, change User part on SIP Trunk -> outbound parameters, as shown in the picture here.

ON SIP Trunk - > Outbound parameters .

From : User Part - change to

"AUTH ID"Authenticaiton

Thanks for sharing your solution but each provider is different. What works for you will most probably not work for other providers. That is why we have supported providers and we have templates for these providers which we maintain. If all providers worked with the same settings then we would have no need for that.

Let us know who your provider is so that other people using the same provider might benefit from your solution.

While there are a lot of providers, either by choice, or by law, that block the sending of any caller Id that is not assigned, by them, to you, many more permit this. the scenario you describe is exactly what the majority of people want, the originators caller Id sent to the destination. The choice of which Provider to use, is many times based on this ability. Many countries have recently put regulations in place, blocking numbers, that do not conform to certain formats (don't appear to be a "real" number).
