3CX CDR Issues

I am trying to use 3CX CDR but having lot of trouble. PS don't offer me https://www.3cx.com/docs/cdr-call-data-records/ this link as a help as its not useful at all. I like to use 3CX CDR for custom reporting. Half of the time 3CX CDR don't get updated I chose both options SINGLE FILE FOR ALL CALLS AND SEPARATE CALS FOR ALL CALLS. is there a way I can find out why my CDR file is not getting updated after every call ? Please suggest how can we use 3CX CDR to generate custom reports.
