Hi,

We are using 3cx v15.5 SP6 and I'm using the legacy app(v155) on android phone.
When I try to scan QR code, it gives the error

"Provisioning Error, PBX could not be reached. Connection timed out"

This happens when Im trying to register the phone using mobile data.

The issue never happens when the mobile is connected to our company WIFI.

Can someone let me know what the issue might be? I understand that it is something to do with the IP restriction.
What setting has to be changed to make the App work?

Thank you.

The phone can only provision via mobile data, if your PBX's HTTPS port is open externally (5001 by default).

You can scan the QR code using just the camera app, and click the detected link. If the phone cannot download the config file from the server then you will need to check your HTTPS port

Okay, so I have to open port 5001 on firewall for all external connections??

I scanned the QR code using camera App, and it says "unable to scan the link. Open an unscanned link?"
When i clicked on Open link anway, it gave me the error message "webpage not available."

Ok so the .3cxconfig file is not accessible via the internet which indicates that your HTTPS port is not properly forwarded I would imagine.
