However it is available in
Android Client 18.1.2.69 and can be downloaded.
WebClient

Size is 2mb so not a "size limit" issue.

That's it in a nutshell.

Reproducible on multiple extensions, photos sent attached to chat from phone app cannot be viewed on any Desktop Client.

Noticed also that there is no attach or photo button on Desktop Client and wondering if there is simply no functionality built into desktop client.

You are using the old legacy client, that's why. You should be using the new DesktopApp which works like the Webclient and has all the features.

Makes sense I suppose, seems the client is being dropped because AFAIK that is the latest version of the Desktop Client. Am I right?

Of the old client, yes.

The new DesktopApp is v18.10. You can download it through the Webclient in the Windows/Mac logo in the sidebar.

Also despite the fact I am running the desktop app right now and I am on a laptop there is no Camera button. QED there are some differences in functionality between desktop and phone app.

Looks like I am going to be deploying the Desktop App to all our end users then. Thanks for the heads up. :)

You need to be in Softphone mode to get the camera button to appear in each user card. The video button should appear during calls tho.

Interesting, can only see SmartPhone is that what you mean?

Done a bit of testing. Integration with Jabra Headsets in Jabra Direct only shows with the old Desktop Client Softphone.
Desktop App in either Smartphone or Desktop App dialer mode is invisible to Jabra Direct.
Hopefully at some point Desktop App will be visible to Jabra Direct.
Seems the functionality is there in Desktop App but needs to be enabled in the config. Testing that now.

The new app does support Jabra headsets. Might need to update the Jabra app and drivers tho.

Also, you should see "smartphone", "desktopapp" and any deskphones you have in the "call using:" dropdown. If not, perhaps your softphones are disabled? They use WebRTC now.

Obviously, make sure you're running the latest 3CX version (18.0.5.)

This is going to sound weird but what happened to the old BLF popout
Can see it in settings but haven't figured out how to display it yet.

On the dialer (the second window), there's an expand button beside the _ and X. Click that.

Ahh all is revealed!
Thanks.

FYI this is a Jabra Evolve 65 on Bluetooth to a Jabra Link 360 and have successfully enabled headphone integration in Desktop App settings, unloaded my old desktop client and exited it.

Have sent feed back to Jabra as I am using latest client and drivers but according to Jabra Direct I don't have a 3CX Softphone to set as Preferred and 3CX is not ready.
However it still works I can pick up the call from my headset button.

Thanks for your help and advice, much appreciated
:)
