Hi,

Is it really true that after the one year Cloud PBX trial is over, everything is instantly and permanently deleted?

Our fault or not, we renewed the 3CX before the one year was up thinking this was all we needed to do but the Google hosting has apparently been destroyed, 3 days after the trial ended. It's looking like we have to completely start from scratch, we can't even get the backups stored there.

Thanks.

The one year trial, as the name implies, is to test the system, hence it gets deleted after it expires. It is meant to be used for testing purposes and not to host a production system. 3CX does not offer paid pbx hosting services. It only offers a FREE trial to test the PBX. If you are happy with it you can then just take a backup and easily restore it either in your own cloud account or on premise.

Renewing/purchasing a license does not mean the trial account extends. You should have received an email before it was deleted saying that it will be soon.

I get it. We got the email, although really didn't give us much warning it was going to wipe it, we knew it was all expiring, so we clicked the shopping cart in the admin console and paid the money thinking all was done. Naive of us, or poorly communicated by 3CX, it doesn't really matter at this stage because we are currently dead.

Backups were running every day but being stored locally on the 3CX server which has now gone.

So is it really really deleted and I actually have to start from the beginning? Or is there someway you can gain those backup files? I have a new hosting instance and a vanilla 3cx configuration, all I need is the backup or the somber news I have to start again. A years worth of phone system, gone.

Please?

In your situation if you have no backup in hands, the only way seem to re start from scratch :(

Perhaps if you can reach google service and explain your case, if it's not too late to have a backup file . I know lot of if

I reached out to Google, but they can't help because it's a reseller account. I gave them the IP address, and were searching around for info on the 3cx page for me trying to help, but they couldn't.

It's 3CX to help or not it seems. Surely machines go into a trash for x days?
