3cx contacts not showing up on yealink w56H

Hi,

I added some contact on the 3cx contacts global list. I have a yealink T21 desk phone and If i go to the 3cx address book I do see it there. But when I use my yealink 56H and go to the 3cx address book, I do not see anything.? questions is why the yealink t21 desk phone sync up right away. Do the wireless handheld yealink W56H take some time to sync? or do I need to do re provision for it to sync up?

When you add contacts in 3CX phonebook, they aren't visible until phones reprovision, as it is something automaticly done once in 24h so if you do nothing, 24h after phones should have all been reprovisionned so phonebook should be up to date everywhere.

of course if you want to apply just after a change a forced provisioning needs to be done

Thank you!! you do have to wait 24 hours for it to sync with the yealink W56P. But for the Yealink T21 deskphone it is instant. . Thank you!!

I don't know why on this T21 phone it has been directly up to date, as 3CX design, normally all the deskphones need a provisioning to be able to display new added contacts in phonebook.

did you proceed (after having added contact in phonebook) a phone start or a reboot or power off on the T21, if so this is why this one updated directly.
Option 1 you do nothing and 24 h after all the phones are up to date
Option 2 you want to see new contacts added , then a manual provisioning need to be done on all the deskphones
