3CX - delay when pressing the answer button on dialer

Strange issue - have a user working from home. They are using a headset with the 3cx Desktop client.

When they receive a call of any kind - when they go to click the answer button in the 3cx dialer - there is a 5-7 second delay before it answers the call.

Once the call is answered there are no issues of any kind. They are on the latest 3cx client update - server is 18.0 Update 8

We have other users working from home with the same setup and they do not have this issue.

No VPN is involved.

I tried having her just login to the web login but the issue persists there as well.

Internet connection is good - latency is only 60ms.

Anyone have any direction on where to go?

As a test, I recommend tethering to a cell phone / starbucks wifi / etc and seeing if the issue stays with the PC or disappears with the ISP change.

3cx Desktop client

The Desktop App is unfortunately removed from the upcoming v20. Have they tried the web client?

They are on the latest 3cx client update - server is 18.0 Update 8

Update 9 has been out a couple weeks: https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/v18-update9-final/

Are they using a headset? If so does it happen with another audio source like a webcam mic?
