3CX Desktop App Video Meeting

We are using the 3CX desktop app at our company. We know how to schedule meetings on the app, share the link to open in the browser etc. But we are also aware if we do a "Quick Meeting" it will pull up the meeting in the 3CX desktop app for the person starting the Quick Meeting. We want to use the app for all meetings: Quick or Scheduled.
My question is 2 fold:
1) How do we use the app to pull up a meeting that is scheduled. Even if i am the organizer, for a scheduled meeting it only gives me a link to use in the browser, i can't use the desktop app to open the meeting.
2) For a scheduled meeting where the link is sent out to participants, how can we open this link in the 3CX desktop app instead of in the browser?

Fun fact, when creating a video meeting the setting "Meeting starts once organizer joins" under the gear/settings defaults to checked. If the organizer does not use the link in the app, and uses the link in the calendar, they never join the meeting.

I don't have an answer to your second question.

Thank you for your replies. I am still wondering how we can use the desktop app to access all meetings.
1) We would like our entire team to use the desktop app to access a recurring morning meeting we have every day. We'd like to go into scheduled meetings (regardless if we're the organizer or just a participant) to have the link in each of our scheduled meetings section. Then to be able to select this recurring meeting and all meet using our desktop app, not the link in the browser.
So our questions / issues:
1) how do we set a recurring meeting
2) how do we use the desktop app to open the recurring meeting
3) how can each participant save the recurring meeting in their respective "scheduled" meetings

We happily used v17 to run recurring audio meetings daily. But v18 has disabled this, despite assurances from 3CX in 2020 and 2021 that v18 would allow recurring conferences. I too would like to know why 3CX seems to have made recurring meetings impossible.

@Maunby One way is to create the meeting in 3CX far in the future, which will remain open. When setting the meeting date, if you click the year in the top/black area you can skip ahead 15 years at a time. Create a separate calendar invite which can be scheduled until the 3CX meeting date, such as with the Desktop Outlook/.ics file download.
