3CX DID to Extension Range Rule

On a new 3CX we're looking to build and eventually put in production, we'll be receiving calls on a very large range of external DIDs, that will need to translate directly to our 3CX extensions, such as via a range rule.

For example:
External DID 234-567-5000 to extension 5000
External DID 234-567-5001 to extension 5001
etc etc
External DID 234-567-5999 to extension 5999

Obviously its not feasible or scalable to write and maintain 1000+ DID individual rules when it could be done with a single 234-567-XXXX => XXXX type rule, like Cisco CUCM for example, but I cant figure out how to perform this in 3CX. This is must-have feature for us to move to 3CX, can anyone provide some insight on how to create this rule?

Couple of solutions

Create one ddi rule,
Export the setting
Add the extra ddi rules to the exported file
Import the modiified file

Use CFD to route calls, you could query a database to route the call correctly -requires pro or ent license and not be 3cx hosted
