Hi

When looking at the license tab I get this message:

3CX failed to establish a TCP connection to activation.3cx.com.
Ensure that the local or border firewalls are configured to allow outbound traffic to activation.3cx.com

I'm able to connect to any other URL from a browser, I dont have a firewall that is blocking.

Anyone know how to fix this ?

/Lars

Hello @lfischer

What PBX version are you running? You can see the exact build number on the Dashboard, under the Information column next to the licence version. For example 15.5.15502.6. Please note that you must be on version 15.5.15502.6 to be able to activate the PBX as there was a change in the certificates of the activation server.

It is running version: 15.5.9348.3

That depends on the internet connection and on how powerful your machine is. Also Debian is generally a little bit faster than Windows. Since i am not sure of your internet and machine i cannot say how long it will take. On my machine however when i was testing this i managed to upgrade 5 service packs in ~20 minutes.

And from the version I have 15.5.9348.3, how many SP do I need to get ?

Are you on Debian or windows?

I see that you are running a version that is between service pack 3 and service pack 4. That might cause an issue if you are on windows as the tool will not be able to detect and verify your current version. In that case you will need to perform a full backup of the system. Save the backup to a non 3CX location. Un-install the system and download the latest installer for V15.5 (https://www.3cx.com/phone-system/download-links/). Re-install using your backup.

If you are running debian then you can follow the guide.
