Good day fellow peoples,
I am configuring the 3cx failover and need to be able to script 2 events,
Event 1, shutdown the main server
Event 2 email out that the failover occoured

Both machines are Linux (Debian Based) in Azure built from the azure marketplace image
Both machines are on the same local LAN 10.2.0.4 main and .5 Failover
Each machine has ait's own static WAN address
Both machines share the same firewall ruleset

A script on a remote windows machine SSH's into each machine using a certificate key file
The script downloads the latest backup from the main machine and uploads it to the failover machine

Since 3CX just calls the script and the script itself isn't 3CX specific, you are better off asking in the Debian forums or even just googling something like 'linux script to shutdown server' since most scripts will be distro agnostic.
