3CX Failover using AWS & On Premis

Dear Team,
Customer want to install 3CX phone system Primary setup @on-Premise and Fallback/Secondary 3cx phone system @AWS Cloud. Please advise on the below.
1. This failover setup(Onpremise & AWS) supported?
2. Do we need VPN tunnel between AWS and On Premise for Failover sync or we can use 3cx phone system public IP Addresses of Primary & Secondary?
3. Shall we use Debian OS image or windows for above failover setup?
4. Please share me the required failover scripts and guidance for the same.

Anyway you need two licences.

You dont need 2 licenses, you just need 3CX AI edition for failover, but do read the KB bitn2 posted as it tells you all you need for the set up. Just make sure all your stuff is using FQDN and not IPs.

Right! I somehow had it in my head that you need two licenses for that.
