3CX Fanvil +2 Timezone without DST

I must say I often battle with the Timezones on 3CX. I’ve tried all the +2 timezones but apparently they all have Daylight savings enabled so it means my time is usually out by an hour!?

On the 3CX PBX itself, I always choose +2 Central Africa Time which I have been told is the correct timezone for South Africa (without DST). But if I choose Global Timezone when provisioning Fanvil handsets then DST is automatically enabled. I cannot seem to find a +2 Timezone without DST when provisioning Fanvil handsets?

Please help me out of my misery?

You didnt specify which phone or template.

i know previously I had an issue with the time on a Fanvil X3 because I was using the incorrect template.

Are you using default templates? on latest FW? is the time on your server correct?

Hi, yes, Time on the PBX is correct.
I'm on the latest firmware on 3CX ( 16.0.619 ) as well as on the Fanvil ( 2.10.1.6836 )
I am based in South Africa, our timezone is +2 No DST.
At the moment the only way I can get it to display the correct time is to use +1 Paris with DST but I suppose as soon as the DST changes in Paris my time is going to be wrong again.

Ok so my phone system is 16.0.5.619 and i've just changed the time zone to Africa Central and rebooted PBX services.

Output for DATE in terminal shows correct time



I've just set up a Fanvil X4U FW 1.0.2 in STUN and provisioned it and can confirm my phone is also +1 hour.

The template is applying this setting:
