3CX for a 50 user company spread across 4 locations

Hi All,

I'm thinking of deploying 3CX for a 50 user company spread across 4 locations with the 3CX server in a data centre and the office connected by MPLS network.

Is this a suitable configuration or do I need a bigger product such as CISCO call manager etc? I would have liked a 3CX in each branch but from what I read the 3CX supports only 2 server linked, is this correct?

Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

3CX System unlimted users and lines to register
but the limit in license is up to 128 simultaneous calls
any numbers of servers can connect to the main server
and any plan you need is very easy to do with 3CX System

Thanks for you quick replies, the business in question is a solicitors (lawyers) practice in the UK with 4 offices the main office has around 20 users/extensions and the 3 other offices have around 10 users/extensions.

the main office will need capacity for 6 simultaneous external calls and the other 3 offices capacity for 4 simultaneous external calls. Internal calls between sites around about the same.

I want full presence information and will probably install the soft phone on all PC's in desk phone mode with a mixture of Snorm 300, 360 and 370 handsets.

All sites have ADSL 2mb/512 MPLS links which I don't think will support the additional VOIP traffic so I'm think of installing dedicated ADSL lines for the VOIP traffic.

So now knowing that I can link multiple 3CX servers I'm thinking a 3CX in each site linked to a central site 3CX in the data centre witch will carry the SIP Trunk connection, this will allow the company to redeploy 3 receptionists and use one receptionist or IVR to route calls for all sites.
The idea is that 3 x receptionists at £17k per year can be redeployed thus saving £51k per year and paying for the VOIP install, so theirs a fare bit of money to play with, if the above solution can be improved upon on the flip side I don't want to waste money.

What do you guys think?

At this point, the 3cxvoipclient will only show the presense of 1 3cx server.
so if you are using multiple 3cx servers, using the voipclient you will see the presence of the local server.

If all locations are vpn'd together, you may be able to use phone blf lights for presence beyond your own location. I would need to test that.
