3CX Free version questions

Hello all,

New to 3CX so hopefully these are easy questions - I was looking online and came across conflicting information.

The free version of 3CX on a on-prem device...

• Does that allow me to make calls and access the admin page
• Can I add a SIP trunk (was to use it as a land line number)
• How many extensions can I have
• How many of them can make calls at the same time
• Can international calls be made

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Currently this is an on-premise installation and the license is a 4SC, so this means that this is the maximum of Sim Calls that is allowed in the phone system. You can add a sip trunk and the international calls depend if they are in the PBX allowed countries and of course if the provider allows them.

Wonderful, I was looking at the providers so that’s probably the next step.

I current have a trial licence ‘Professional Annual’. What functions would be lost when that expires?

This is a 3 months trial PRO key which will be reverted to a standard license if it is not upgraded after the trial period.

Sure? I thought the trial licences stopped working after trial because there is no 3cx Free on premise anymore (accept the old licences).

I will need to clarify here as actually @bitn2 is correct.
@twrigglesworth After the trial period the license will stop working and there is no downgrade. In order to continue use the license this has to be upgraded.
