I'm looking to integrate HaloPSA with 3CX - we've got things linked up but the Address book isn't searchable in 3CX. The numbers appear to be added automatically once a known contact calls though.

Is this a limitation of the CRM integration or are we doing something wrong?

This is how the integration works. If the number is found in the CRM, it will create a contact for it in the 3CX Company Phonebook and then use that for further call logging. However, next time they call, the CRM will be queried again and update the phonebook entry.

Those contacts can be seen in the Webclient, mobile apps, IP phone directories and the Contacts section of the Management Console.

Thank you :)

We've gone through further testing and are still experiencing some issues - the primary issue being that the CRM test integration screen on the 3CX management portal is only finding matches to numbers that are the primary number in HaloPSA; so as an example, it isn't finding me based on my mobile number, however if i search the landline number assigned to me I can see it does return my mobile number.

Does this sound like an issue with the configuration XML that Halo provided, or is there another limitation where 3CX can only search the CRM for one number?

Could be either a problem with their API not having that capability, or the template hasn't been adjusted to search multiple fields.

This is not a 3CX limitation at all.

Thanks again for the prompt response :)

I believe it's an issue with the XML, but unfortunately we're waiting for them to look into things!

I'll see what happens and update once we've got somewhere.

Struggling to find someone else who has integrated with HaloPSA. It would be interesting to see how things have gone from their side.

If you prefer having someone external check it out, DM me. If they have any kind of API and you can give us a temporary access to it, we can probably fix the issues (if the problem is just the XML.)
