Solved 3CX hosted cloud dell sonicwall open ports

Hi,

Please could someone point me in the right direction of open ports needed on a firewall for the 3CX hosted solution? (I've hooked but keep finding on prem user guides which isn't what I want)

Basically I just want a a list of ports that I should have opened please.

If you choose 3CX in the cloud there is no need to open any firewall ports...... If you have an IP phone just install the SBC locally but no opening of ports is needed.... This is why we suggest the SBC. Just follow the guides it does not mention firewall ports for hosted by 3CX.

@Haddi do you have a strict outbound firewall policy on your side and you want to make a rule to allow all traffic from your office with destination the PBX ?
Because if you want to use deskphones at your location, then as mentioned above SBC is the solution for this.

Yep, the firewall is quite strict, just been using the browser extensions so far and not connecting in the office but can connect when laptop is taken home so I guessed firewall rules needed some open ports setup.

Not using IP phones just yet and don't have an option to setup SBC at this point.

So, yes would like a rule to allow all traffic from office to 3CX cloud hosted.

So make a rule on your firewall with destination the FQDN of the PBX ( not ip address just to be safe ) and allow outbound traffic form your side with destination the FQDN of the PBX and all the below ports

Also,if you use 3cx Webmeeting from the Web Clients then you have to also open additional ports as the clients connect directly with the Webmeeting servers.
