Solved 3cx Import wrong CSV file Issue

Dear all,

Kindly assist on how to import bulk extension list to 3cx as every time we tried we get the Error Message '' Wrong CSV file, required columns are not found: Number''.
Every time i tried to import I get this error message

Can someone help, maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I have created a dummy Ext. and export it to put my new extension in the list then erase the old one but non of it work.

Could be a formatting issue.

best thing to do is to export the current list and then dont touch the columns.

can you post the raw data if you open from notepad?

okay that was my guess too. But let say I have to create 100 new User/ Extension. What are the detail that I need to change or not ? I'm I supposed to erase all the AUTH ID and Password for the new extension in those columns

I've just done a test import and it worked fine with just number, firstname, lastname

Still not able maybe I'm doing something wrong or the Format is not good

do you save the csv file in excel?
excel will format the file with ; (semicolon) instead of , (comma)

then you would need to open the csv file e.g. in notepad++ and change the semicolon in comma
