I'm new to 3CX, and experimenting with a self-managed, yet 3CX hosted, instance of 3CX Pro v18.0. Last week (as far as I can tell) the system became unresponsive (no calls in/out bound) and the system is unreachable by it's FQDN. I had assumed there was a way to restart the instance from the 3CX Portal > Your 3CX System > [system in question], but as of this writing, I cannot see an option to do that. Any ideas where to start?

Where ist your 3CX hosted? On premise or in the cloud?

Hi Dallen,

If it was hosted by us we would have noticed if the machine went down, so I'm assuming you probably hosted it yourself (ie. in Amazon, Google etc)

You cannot fix this from the 3CX portal. You will have to go to your cloud host control panel, and check the status of your machine. It might not be running or it may be stuck.

If it's giving you too much trouble, you can purge the machine entirely from your cloud provider, and switch to Hosted by 3CX:

You can re-deploy your system from your 3CX Portal:

I'm quite sure it's hosted from you guys--I didn't setup anything in AWS or Google cloud hosting. As I recall, I did it all from your website. I've always been able to access the system at this URL: https://barefootmanagement.id.3cx.us/

However, I'm not able to access it currently--thus the issue I'm trying to troubleshoot.

From the DNS record of the aforementioned management URL, shows the following hostname: "ec2-44-229-15-124.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com" which is not an EC2 instance I manage or have created. Can you verify that it's not one of yours (3CX's)?

I don't think hosted by 3CX uses AWS, I though they were DO or Vultr.

The URL does load for me, so it's up. Try a VPN if you still can't get to it.

Yes I can verify that, we don't host there. If you did it all by our website and selected to host your own, you can provide your Amazon details and we automatically deploy it there for you (most likely explanation of what happened).

If needed you can confirm directly with our Hosted by 3CX team by sending opening a support ticket.
