3CX Integration ODOO

hello,

I'm working on integrating 3CX with our ODOO CRM. Tests for contact search and contact creation scenarios work well.

I add the functionality to open the contact's main page on the ODOO CRM once the call is received on 3CX, however I can't find the method to open the contact's page on the browser directly from the controller where I deployed the API.

if anyone is working on 3CX integration in ODOO can you help me solve this

You need to send ContactUrl in your XML scenario output. The DesktopApp/Webclient will do the rest.

the contact page I want to display is the CRM database contact page and not the 3CX contact page.

the scenarios I've seen on the 3CX documentation on the XML Template allow contact search by email and phone, contact creation if it doesn't exist, call logging, and chat logging, but I haven't found a scenario that can open the contact page.

Can I define a new scenario type or do I have to use the scenarios predefined by 3CX in the documentation?

how can 3CX recognize the URL of the contact page on the CRM in the json file sent as a response to the query of the scenario (in which key of the json Dictionary I have to send the URL) is if there is a type of scenario predefined by 3CX which I should use.

The contact lookup and contact creation scenarios must return an output with ID "ContactUrl":

When you return this ContactUrl, it will be passed to the Web Client / Desktop App, and then this client will automatically open this in a new browser tab when you answer the call.

You can create your own if you need to chain them.

We have an Odoo integration working but it uses a proxy API that needs to be deployed somewhere. Odoo uses XMLRPC and that will NEVER work in a 3CX CRM XML template.

Searching the internet I come to the following link where it seems that there is some kind of connector, but even looking at the videos I don't see it clearly. I will try to contact Odoo support.

Often these connectors are SaaS based tools by the way.

Also, Odoo doesn't have a connector but their App Store might. However, you then depend on a third-party module on top of the integration. I recommend staying away from those, specially if they're not updated in a long time.
