Hello guys,

yesterday I performed update to build 461, but this morning I realized that 3CX journaling stopped working completely, we are syncing data on our MySQL database a creating reports from there.

Looks connection itself is blocked:

MySqlConnector.MySqlException (0x80004005): Unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts.

Here is the lookup we are using:

SELECT 1 contactid, 'Ignore' firstname, 'Ignore' lastname, '' as email,'[Number]' as phonebusiness, '[Number]' as phonemobile, '[Number]' as faxbusiness

Can anyone help please as its quite critical for us to have accurate call stats.

Many thanks!

It would be interesting to see the log around this line. This database connection error could happen for different things, like a firewall, a SSL certificate, etc. What was the previous version you were running? If this was working OK in v16, and now you migrated to v18, the problem might be that 3CX v18 only supports TLS 1.2, and your database server might not support this.

We ve been running on 18 with no issues so far, just yesterday after update to 450 and then 461 it stopped working. So ve been running on the build prior 450. Looks there could be some firewall rules improved with one of these two updates? Just thinking what to check.

I don't think it's a firewall issue on the 3CX side, but maybe on the database server side. But let's see the full logs to understand what's happening.

UPDATE: At the end realized that static route disappered from the instance....sorry I bothered you guys.
