Solved 3CX Licence exchange

I have a licence that was registered to a client that is no longer with us. Can I assign this licence to another licenced instance. I have a customer that is on a free licence and I want to upgrade them to this old users licence.
How do I change the registration details of the licence and secondly how do I assign it to the current customers hosted instance?

Hello @TelcoHero,

If you are the administrative owner of than instance you can do so from your 3CX portal.
Select the Key you want to move and then in the bottom of the page there is a Transfer Key (You can change the registered email and ownership of the subscription).


Regarding Hosted with 3CX License Key replacement:
You cannot replace the license key in hosted instances, unlike on-premise or self-hosted installations.
If a new subscription was ordered, please ask for a refund within the month of purchase. Then upgrade your existing license, the price is the same!
Once you have performed the upgrade, log in to your 3CX Management Console and press the reload button in the dashboard to update your subscription immediately.
