Solved 3CX Linux < slower than Windows Server

We maintain two large 3cx deployments, and the Linux server has had been sluggish to log in since the last update.

Anyone else experiencing these problems?

We had a very similar situation 6 months ago or so.
It ended up being a cpu steal issue and we moved our machine to a dedicated cpu instance and it fixed immediately.
Try running this command: iostat 1 10
If you’re seeing above 15% that could be your issue.

Its on a dedicated machine. 3cx Linux Iso.

avg-cpu: %user %nice %system %iowait %steal %idle
0.50 0.00 0.00 0.00 0.00 99.50

0% Steal... It just hangs. Just sits there loading. Whenever I attempt to save any user or any area, it just has this bar going across, and nothing...

Ever since the last patch.

SOLVED IT!

Was a DNS Issue, I had 2 dns servers, first one was not up. 3CX did not like it! Could not get licensing and other things. That solved it.
