3cx local address is public address

what pros and cons are there for having the internal ip as a public ip with 3cx.

my vps provider has build a vps on server 2012 however the vm has a public ip instead of an internal ip. will this cause any issues or is this how the cloud version is ment to be setup?

what advantages/disadvantes does this have.

how have other people setup 3cx as a hosted/cloud environment.

There should be nothing preventing that from working, it's just that security may be of some concern without some sort of firewall/restrictions on access.
