3CX Microsoft Dynamics Error: The request body must contain the following parameter: 'client_assertion' or 'client_secret

I am doing a server side CRM integration for 3CX and Microsoft Dynamics 365. I have followed all the steps but when I get to the part for authorizing the token I am getting an error that says:

The request body must contain the following parameter: 'client_assertion' or 'client_secret

Does anyone know how to resolve this.

This is because you created a wrong type of app in Azure. You need to use a "Native" app, and then this error will be gone.

I think our dynamics version is on a different interface, there is no option for choose native app when creating an app registration:

Is this secure or is there a way to set it to native on the interface we're using?

Yes, "Public client" is the new name that Microsoft has given to the old native apps... So what you have now is correct.
