Hi All,

Does anyone know whether the mobile clients for 3CX (i.e. Android, iOS) can support TLS and SRTP? I'm aware that the tunnel that 3CX can set up over port 5090 doesn't provide any encryption support.

If there is no encryption available this is quite a security concern - how is this service secured for users out on the road?

Any questions please ask.

Kind regards

Yes, they support TLS and SRTP although they don't use the tunnel if TLS is configured.

And I must admit although I often get paranoid about SRTP in particular - thinking about people listening-in to the calls, the PSTN analog system allowed anyone with a pair of headphones and crocodile clips to listen-in to a call too.

I personally think that the ability to more easily negotiate complex NAT arrangements that the single-port tunnel offers is worth the trade-off.

Incidentally, the site-to-site tunnel setup by the SBC *can* be encrypted - but not the one setup by a mobile client AFAIK
