3cx Mobile + desktop potential issues with status and ring groups?

I have 2 extensions that have both desk phones and mobiles with the 3cx mobile client.

These two extensions keep flip flopping from registered to unregistered but the phones themselves don't show unregistered. I've been pinging 2 of these phones and I haven't lost a packet but I've seen them go unregistered and registered a dozen times today.

I'm wondering if this process is causing some issue with the ring group these extensions are in.

If you are seeing them disappear from the "Phones" node in the Management Console, this is probably because the purposely de-register and PUSH kicks in. This it to save battery. Re-registering every 2 minutes, not very friendly on the battery.

If when a call arrives though, PUSH should wake the mobile phones up and launch the app and start ringing. There is a 2-3 second delay compared to the hardphone obviously, but I think that is a very fair trade-off for having your battery last more than a couple of hours...
