3cx not waking up android

Hi, I am experiancing an issue that the 3cx android app, 16.4.1.120 is not waking up the Huawei mate 20 pro, running Android 10 so cannot answer incoming calls. It works fine if the screen is on. 3cx server version is 16.0.639. Extention push nitification enabled, firebase push account configured. Anyone has any idea about this please?

Does your phone have Google Play Store and Google Play Services installed, or is it part of the Huawei models that do not have google services?

Google play services is fully installed.

Ok, and since it works fine when the screen is on (incoming calls) and you can confirm the google services are installed then we can certain that the push message arrives on the phone.

I noticed in the past with some Huawei models that if you kill the app (swipe away from recents) it may suppress the apps from responding to incoming push - this is one thing to look out.

Another thing is to look for is any "hidden" power saver options the device may have that can sometimes prevent the app from ringing. Each phone manufacturer is different so you will have to look into your model's menus and see if there are any options to change. Take a look here, it does not contain everything but it is a good starting point

Hi John,

Thanks for your reply. I think the problem is the battery setting. I configure the phone as follow and it seems working fine for couple of hours:
settings/Battery/App launch/3cx, set to "Manage manually and then enable Auto-launch, Secondary launch and Run in background".
